Comillas
Stately and aristocratic, thanks to the influence of the Marquis of Comillas, Gaudi designed El Capricho there, one of the few works outside Catalonia by the famous architect. In addition to the personality of its cobbled streets full of magical corners, it has a fine sandy beach and a beautiful promenade where you can get lost, contemplating its delicate and exquisite landscape.

Suances, Playa de Los Locos
An unmissable spot for surfers, it is full of cliffs and sunsets that remain etched in your memory forever. It has that charm that combines the modesty and tranquility of what was once a fishing village with the dynamism brought by being a destination full of youth, whose horizon always features daring surfers riding the waves.

Santander, Playa del Sardinero
A destination for visitors from the Castilian and Madrid bourgeoisie of the early 20th century, the fashion of summer vacations and the health benefits of wave baths made it increasingly known, gradually turning it into a spa city. It has several kilometers of white sand, crowned at one end by the imposing Royal Palace of La Magdalena and at the opposite end by the Chiqui hotel. A mix of tradition and modernity present throughout the city.
Parque Natural de Cabárceno
The Cabárceno Nature Park is located about 20 kilometers from Santander. A zoo in semi-freedom conditions with 20 kilometers of road sections where, in addition to the animals, you can enjoy a green environment full of rocks and mountains. It has a cable car to enjoy its beauty from above. Undoubtedly a perfect plan to enjoy a unique experience.
As a novelty in the park, there is a cable car that allows you to see it from above. It is included in the entrance. There are two different routes to explore.
The park has a research team that develops important studies on the conservation of endangered animals. If you travel with a motorhome, they have a special parking service.

Santillana del Mar
One of the towns with the greatest historical and artistic value in Spain. It has the Altamira Caves, the “Sistine Chapel” of rock art, declared a World Heritage Site in 1985. To be left speechless, we recommend visiting the Collegiate Church of Santa Juliana, one of the most representative Romanesque art monuments in the region, declared a national monument in 1889. To recharge, we recommend having a delicious chocolate with churros in any of the gardens filled with hydrangeas that you will find throughout the town.
Getting around Santander
If you want to get to know Santander, you will need a car. You can rent one upon your arrival at the airport. The roads are well maintained, although you will have to be very careful in the more rural areas, which can be very winding and, in many cases, have only unpaved dirt tracks.
